YCC enrollments include a Ready to Speak conference.
returning members
A: We have two periods for Annual Payment renewal each year. There will be other enrollment windows throughout the year for new members, but these are the only periods for renewing an annual membership. Find windows listed on the main page.
A: Renewal happens ONLY during the renewal periods. Members who miss these will wait until another enrollment window and enroll as new members with an enrollment subscription package.
A: There are two options for Annual Payment members who renew during a renewal period. They may choose the Annual Payment option. Or they may take advantage of the subscription packages.
For those members who have subscriptions from years past, those will continue uninterrupted at $15 YSG and $10 YCC.
They’ll register themselves for RTS conferences and ICCFS tournaments separately, as before.
We are not, however, offering these subscription packages anymore.

A. The purchase of an Advanced Student Leader Enrollment includes a discounted SL Enrollment ($50) + an international event credit ($200).
Other Questions
A. For annual payment members, purchase the membership experience that your student will be enjoying that year. A student turning 11 during the chapter year can choose the YSG enrollment, and they’ll join the older student group and begin working through the first portfolio. If the parent would like the student turning 11 later in the year to begin in YCC and then enroll as YSG in the spring, they can do that also.
For subscription members, you’ll receive an email from People Care with a link to purchase a YSG upgrade for students turning 11.
A. Students who turn 18 during the chapter year complete their membership at year-end 15 June. Students who graduate but wish to stay involved in their chapters, beginning the new chapter year as an 18-year-old, must purchase and complete the $45 Child Safeguarding protocol.
A. We recommend 11-year-olds advancing into YSG. Attending only every other week with younger children doesn’t serve that student, in our experience. By advancing, he’ll be supported as he makes his way through the portfolio, proud of each challenge he meets.
To report suspected abuse, begin with the leader you know best, e.g., your Chapter Sponsor.
Reports can also be made anonymously through this reporting form. Reports can also be initiated through Live Chat. Refer to our Child Safeguarding Policy & Protocols.
